3. Description of goods
All descriptions, advertising and specifications on our website are for the purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods and we cannot warrant their accuracy. To assist, we operate a sample policy as mentioned below.
4. Ordering of goods
To order goods you should follow the instructions on our website. Please note that orders will be supplied to the nearest full tile above the requested m2. Your order will be automatically adjusted upwards to include full tiles only.
5. Payment of goods
When you order goods you must tell us your address and telephone number which must be the same as your credit card bank has on file for you. We accept most major credit and debit cards including visa, mastercard and Maestro. If you provide us with incorrect information, this may cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation has been properly received.
6. Availability of goods
All goods are subject to availability and if they are in stock in our warehouse, delivery will normally be made within 3-5 working days. If our supplier’s or we are temporarily out of stock for any reason we will notify you of this situation and you should in these cases allow up to 14 working days for delivery. For delays longer than 14 days, you will have the opportunity to cancel the order for a full refund. We will not however be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we are not able to supply the goods within these times.
Before placing your order, you may order free 10×10 samples, or full tile samples for £10.00. Sample tiles are delivered free of charge in the UK. This will give you a better idea of shade variation and blend. Quotations for samples of decorated tiles can be given upon request.
The price payable for the goods will be shown on our website. We reserve the right to vary the price if there has been any increase in our supplier’s prices or if there is an error or an omission whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will then inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity of cancelling the order.
9. Delivery charges
Sample tiles are delivered free in the UK. Delivery to the UK mainland costs £50. Orders outside UK mainland will be the subject of a delivery charge for which you should contact us for a quotation.
10. Delivery times
Goods ordered will normally be delivered within 3 to 5 working days. Normal delivery will be Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 6pm. If for any reason we are unable to deliver the goods within 14 working days of your order, you have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods. We shall not however be responsible for any other losses you suffer for late delivery. If you are not at home the driver will not leave the goods unless specific arrangements are agreed with us. If a second delivery attempt is made an additional £20.00 charge will be incurred.
You will be responsible for the goods as soon as we have delivered them to you. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery assignment note at the time of the delivery. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. If any of the goods are received in a damaged condition or if there are any other irregularities you must inform us in writing within two working days of the delivery of the exact amount missing or the extent of the damage. We may collect all damaged or faulty goods at request and if they are found to be damaged or faulty we will make an appropriate refund to you or arrange replacements at our expense.
All products supplied by the Capitol Designer Studio have a 12 months manufacturers guarantee. Any fault, which is reported to us and substantiated by us within one month of purchase, will receive an immediate full credit. This does not affect your statutory rights
13 Returned goods
If you are not totally satisfied with your order for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from date of delivery for full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges. Please be aware that you will be fully responsible for the return of goods and any associated costs of return. We will only process refunds for goods received back complete and in a saleable condition. Your cancellation request must be put into writing and received within the 7-day period. Special pieces, which have been imported at your request, are not returnable and therefore non-refundable.
